All of us at Sensient are heartbroken by the earthquakes that devastated parts of Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria on Monday, February 6th.
In response to the crisis, we are inviting all employees to make a donation to the American Red Cross or Red Cross & Red Crescent (see links and descriptions below) to support the relief efforts.
To match employee efforts, the Sensient Foundation will make a donation to the American Red Cross.

In Türkiye, the Turkish Red Crescent is distributing stocks of food and basic aid items to support those injured and evacuated. To meet the increased demand for blood, Turkish Red Crescent is sending all of its national blood stocks to the affected regions, and calling on people across Türkiye to donate blood.
Red Crescent National Societies in both Türkiye and Syria are providing mental health and psychosocial support to those in need to alleviate distress and refer them to long-term mental health care services where necessary.
In Syria, Syrian Arab Red Crescent teams have been responding in hardest hit areas since the early hours of 6 February, providing life-saving support, including first aid, emergency medical evacuations and transport to hospitals. Volunteers are on the ground distributing food, water and shelter materials to people, and providing restoring family links services.
